“Jesus taught his followers to pray for miracles and expect God to make them happen.”

Prayer Walking

In the inspiring words of Jeremiah 29:7, we are called to "seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." It is with this spirit that we introduce the Prayer Walking Campaign, a collective effort to cover our community in prayer, seeking miracles and breakthroughs in the very streets we call home.

Walking in Prayer, Stepping into Miracles

Prayer has power—power to open doors, heal wounds, and bring about the extraordinary. We've witnessed the wonders it can work within our church; now, it's time to extend that power across our community. This campaign is not merely about walking; it's about witnessing God's hand at work in every corner of our town.

Breakthrough Prayer

Do you believe in the power of prayer? Like, do you really believe in the power of prayer? What about, do you believe in the power of God to break into your life and do miracles?

Kern Church believes in God’s miracles through breakthrough prayer. Breakthrough prayer is bold way of praying that invites God to do miracles in your life. Kern Church is committed to praying for, working for, and seeing God’s miracles in our lives and in our church. We invite you to set an alarm or a reminder at 11:01 each day to join us in praying our breakthrough prayer. In Luke 11:01, Jesus’ followers prayed, “Lord, teach us to pray.” So as you pause at 11:01 to pray with your whole church, you are invoking this prayer and asking God to, again, do miracles.

Breakthrough Prayer:

God, release the resurrection power of your Holy Spirit to break through and bring miracles of new hopes, dreams, and possibilities for our church and in my own life. Grant to us your boldness to follow Jesus into your new and unknown future. May your Spirit come and your will be done. Amen!

Short form to remember and pray throughout your day:

Release the resurrection power.

Prayer Requests

Breakthrough prayer does not replace our existing prayers — it is an additive piece. Now is not a time to pull back on prayers of any kind. Instead, we need more!

Our pastor and leaders are always praying for the needs of people in our community and church. We want to pray for you.
